Benefits of using Ezytime

Our Online Portal, Ezytime, was developed by us nearly ten years ago to assist our clients manage their Leave and Timesheets in a more efficient manner and is now the default tool used by most companies.


It was designed to handle three main functions

  • Leave Management - Employees can request leave, Managers can approve or decline it. Leave balances are visible to managers so real time decision making is achieved.
  • Basic Timesheets - Employees can record worked hours either as a total per day or start/finish times.
  • Payslips - Employees can view their payslips, print them, save them externally and still have access to them even if they leave the company.

Over time we have also added other features based on user feedback.

  • Leave Calendar - View when people take leave
  • Leave Balances - Automatically updated after every pay period
  • Company Messaging - Internal messages whereby you can ensure a messages is read
  • Emergency Contacts - Staff can maintain who to contact in an emergency
  • On-boarding Email - Automatically send a pre-formatted email to new employees when they are hired giving their access details
  • External Users - People can be added to the portal even if they are not on the payroll, if they are responsible for approving items.
  • Customised - Each site is customised with your Company Logo and colours
  • Auditing - Every transaction is fully audited provided full transparency on all items
  • Security - 2-Factor Authentication is available for added security.

How it Works

Employees login and can either enter Timesheets (or a Manager can enter on their behalf) or request Leave. Based on Teams Workflows, the request is forwarded to their Manager for review (approval, declined etc). The employee is notified of the outcome. Leave can be requested over any date range and if it is entered in arrears, it will automatically get processed in the next pay period.

Based on your pay schedule, the Portal sends us a file each pay period that we use to process your pay.

Once the pay is completed, we upload payslips and refresh the leave balances.


What you have to do

There is only two tasks you are required to do within the Portal.

  1. Attach any new employees to their Team and send them the On-boarding email.
  2. Ensure all Timesheets and Leave Requests are Approved before the agreed cut-off date/time.
